Navarino Island offers fishing in the southernmost river of Chilean Patagonia. This river drains from Navarino Lake and is full of Brook and Brown Trout and to, a lesser degree, Rainbow Trout. You will be able to fish this river with both dry and wet flies. We recommend bringing a wading staff to wade in and sometimes cross the river because the river bed can be slippery. Trout in this river can grow to about 34” and in some cases, even world-record size.
PROGRAM 8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS
For lovers of fly fishing, having the possibility of accessing lakes and rivers where it is difficult for other fishermen to have arrived previously, becomes without a doubt in a goal to be achieved. LAKUTAIA LODGE invites you not only to meet this goal, but also to be part of the Fly Fishing more southern of the planet, where it is possible to find trout Farios, Fontinalis Arcoiris and Sea Run, the latter the southern ones that can be found.
From day 3 to day 7, guests will leave the lodge around 9:00 AM after breakfast; fishing all day. Box lunches will be served next to a river or lake. Guests return from the river or lake around 7:00 PM depending on the season and the weather conditions.
